Another great example in my opinion is taking a look at Golden St.
-S.Curry and K. Durant are pure scorers. They can just put the ball in the basket from anywhere, any angle, set or not set, backboard, whatever. It comes natural to them, don't get me wrong I'm sure they work hard and practice a ton, but they are PURE SCORERS.
-K.Thompson and D.Green. Both guys can score 20+ at the highest level but they are not pure scorers. They have to work for it all, doesn't come natural to them. Thompson may be a pure shooter but not a scorer. He has to be more squared up, doesn't have the knack to slither thru to the hoop. Even Iguodola, not a pure scorer by any stretch, even when scoring 18 in his early years, all very awkward and mechanical.
